If you do not give the selling dealer the chance and time to effect the repairs you can complain until the cows come home. If the selling dealer fails to live up to their end of the sales agreement then you have an actionable offense. Until they try and fail the repair, tell you they are not attempting to fix the issue(s) and you are out actual expenses to repair the vehicle you have no actionable offense. In simple terms, YOU CAN NOT SUE for restitution until you spend money. No court will find on a he said, they said, you said case. They will not even hear the case until you actually have out of pocket expenses. So let them fix it or get out your wallet. If you choose to fix the RV yourself without giving the selling dealer the option to repair it first most courts will tell you to go pond sand.

p.s.
You also have this issue of the RV being a repo unit sold at a discounted price working against you in a court of law.
Good Luck
It has never been my intention to sue. This post was/is a vent on my part for a dealer that lacks tact. Sure, I can go to him and have him do whatever repair he wants to do but I have my concerns for how he will go about doing that. The service center that currently has my coach has been very clear on what they are going to do. The dealer has not and frankly cannot since they don't have it in their possession. Also, the service manager stated to me that they are not even a Workhorse Service center. Additionally when they affected the repairs that I listed after taking possession, I know for a fact that they put used parts on my coach, specifically the driver side leveler and the rear AC fan assembly. How do I know this? because the service manager told me so! Because of the way this owner of this dealership has treated me, I have no trust in what he says and what they want to do. The owner has taken my queries personally and, in my opinion, out of context and his feelings are hurt. Welcome to the real world of big boys and girls making decisions that they feel is correct for the safety of their family! We are at an impasse. In the end, I have never been treated by a company where I am a customer as this RV dealership has treated me. His lack of tact and lack of respect is bewildering to me. I owned a business for over 20 years and I can't imagine treating people as he has and I had some real crazy customers at times! But then again, the deal is done, the sale is complete and now as some have stated, I am now a liability.
Oh, and who said it was sold at a discounted price because of being a repo? I never did! Their words, "We will make it like new". What have I misunderstood about that statement? When you buy a new coach, do you expect everything to function and if not do you hold the dealer responsible to get it working because it is new? So, how does their own statement make my situation different from buying a new coach? if they don't want to live up to what they say, "we will make it like new" then don't say that!
