I once had an acquaintance say "you've had a motorhome for years, I'm thinking about buying one. I am running the numbers." I told him not to do that. A motorhome will NEVER come out cheaper than traveling and staying in moderate motels. I told him it is flexibility, having your own bed and bath. Not financial savings.
