Most of the folks that race on the Bonneville Salt Flats use a product called Salt-X. I have a gallon jug of the concentrate and their fitting that goes on your faucet and sucks a metered amount into the water you spray. I use it on my boat and flush the motors with it. We camp most of the time at a State Park that is right on Puget Sound. I spray the coach and toad if we have had winds that spray wave water on us. I took the Samurai onto the Salt Flats 6 days in 2006 and had presprayed under it before we went. Sprayed again when we got home plus parked over a lawn sprinkler for a day. No sign of salt damage today.
