Any idea what the cost is to get new magnets and brake shoes installed on a pair of dexter 6000 lb axles on my 5th wheel.......when I called CW I got more of a run around than a ride on a carousel.
Go the replacement backing plate route... Much easier and I got these 10" ones for $40 each back in 2011. Probably have gone up a bit since then, but still cheaper than the individual parts.
And even if you can't do it yourself, just hand the parts over to your mechanic and it should not take all that long to do at all.
