Not to be contrary, (and because I really don't know the facts:)), but doesn't your hubby have to be associated with the RED CROSS or something, to issue valid cards to the folks who take his course? I was thinking that was a State thing, so he might have to get a certification from FL, though I'd guess that is really just a paperwork thing.
I'm just guessing that anyone taking the course, should be sure that they get a valid card.
I think it's great that your DH is doing this, and hopefully, he had full classes, because the more folks who know the proper techniques and procedures, the better my chances of having one around, when I need them!!:B
I've taken the class as part of my job training, and it's well worthwhile! It seems as if the CPR training changes every few years, and they are making it easier and easier to be able to do, which really helps when it's needed.
