Doesn't matter, a privately owned campground which this is can have whatever policies they want, without justification. I'd suspect this has more to do with too many past experiences where an owner with a 50 amp rig has dogboned into 30 amp service and ignored the need to restrict his max draw to 30 amps, thereby pulling his breaker, perhaps breakers on a main distribution box serving other sites as well. I can see how after awhile this would become a real PITA issue for the park, having to send out a staff person every time this happens to sort out the issue and reset the breaker(s) - ALL because too many numb nuts insist on turning on everything they own in their 50 amp rig. :S
