Our coach has 30 amp service. We can (and often do) run both air conditioners at the same time. The only "selection" we have to make is between the microwave and the electric element in the water heater. The switch is under the kitchen counter, behind a panel that looks like a drawer.
Here in the West, we have never encountered such a restriction, and I read the rules very closely. In fact, on our trip to Chattanooga a couple years ago we never encountered such a restriction.
Yes, the park owner can create any rule he wants for whatever reason he wants, and yes, we have the capability to go on down the road if we want. IMO, that park owner is ill-informed, and is chasing away customers. But, that is HIS problem, not ours!
