I can see how #2 would follow number one, since breakers do fail, it is generally the fault of no one, and the remedy is replacement. Probably cost the park about $20. What I don't see is the causal link that leads to #3. Maybe the old park manager got a new job, maybe they just quit because they got tired of dealing with 700+ residents complaints. Maybe they were skimming from the till. Maybe the old manager was sleeping with the owners wife, or the owner is sleeping with the new manager. I some how doubt the manager's supposed lack of knowledge about electrical circuits led to his removal, especially since they park apparently employs an actual electrician.
My RV has both 30 and 50 amp shore cords. When I'm on a 30 amp site I actually use a different (30 amp) cord.
Short story
I had a pair of bad breakers (50 amp) on a site I was on finally got the park electrician to put in new ones. They were so hot he wore gloves taking them out of the box and even after he got the box all buttoned up again they were still too hot for me to handle comfortably And trust me that's hot.
The park manager yammered about 50 amp rigs on 30 amp breakers.
Catch 1: These were the 50 amp breakers
Catch 2: He may be an electrician but I'm a Certified Electronics Technician
We now have a new park manager. (Not due to any complaint I filed but well it's a BIG (700+ site) Campground so others did complain).
However, this entire post may actually tie into this thread if the park you are in has 30 amp loops and 50 amp rigs are using and overheating the breakers in those loops. That manager may have just dealt with a dozen of those complaints right before you walked in with your problem and just assumed you were the baker's dozen. That would demonstrate having 50 amp rigs in 30 amp sites does cause problems and hence a justification for a policy of no 50 amp rigs in 30 amp sites.
