For example a 50 amp rig almost always has multiple air conditioners. They are zoned, and the EMS will rotate thru them so that when one zone gets to temperature that unit cycles off and the next zone's unit cycles on and the amperage draw remains constant. 30 amp rigs almost exclusively have one unit and the rigs have less area to cool. When the rig reacbes temperature the single ac unit turns off and draw goes to zero. This is but one example, there are multiple ways 50 amp rvs operate differently than 30 amp rigs when both are connected to 30 amp services.
