You would have to turn off 25 percent of everything you have running to squeak under the 30 amp circuit's maximum load. It doesn't take much to get to 30 amps. The air conditioner and one of either the microwave, a hair dryer, the vacuum cleaner or a coffe maker and you are pretty much there.
Ran into that only once in over ten years. Said Bye Bye & went to the next CG. They can look at my Progressive box & see what I am drawing at any time. It is very rare that we are over20 amp total each leg
