using a 50-30 dogbone, the (2) legs from the 50amp connect to the one leg of the 30
you are not power only one leg of the 50, if of half of the rv circuits would have no power
Veebyes said 20amps on each leg, that is 40amps total
a 30amp service won't support 40amps
this is not about the pedistal box, or the 30amp outlet components
it is about the fact the NEC code in effect at the time the rv park was built
its not about one outlet, its about load factor allowance from the old code
and newer rvs using more than the installed circuits can carry
