I'm surprised the policy wasn't the other way around: "If your rig is a 30 amp rig, you can't use a 50 amp site."
If it has it, I prefer to use the 50 receptacle instead of the 30 receptacle in a campsite I'm camping in (I have a 30-to-50 amp adapter). I'm more assured that I won't get so much voltage drop at my site from other air conditioners running all around the campground in hot weather. ;)
