The EMS is not going to automatically lead to more energy use in a 50 amp RV vs non EMS.
Cecilt may be using more power on an instantaneous basis than I would at a similar site. I don't have a true EMS but I do have the ability to limit my load to a maximum of 24 amps. I do use the load support feature so I can run the same items he does--but within a smaller energy "window".
