That's old people speak for "I don't understand what's going on and I don't like it". Problem is, our parents and grandparents said exactly the same thing. :D As it affects your camping, if it bothers you so much you still have a choice - don't do it any more and save yourself the aggravation. Also simple. :)
Oh I understand what's going on and I don't like it. That's my prerogative. RV manufacturer's need to allocate a portion of there profit's to funding and promoting campground development.
There are currently a number of investor's wanting to develop new campground's across the continent but there is the typical not in my backyard resistance and attitude from neighbours and municipal politician's against those new campground's. The rising property values and urban sprawl has cause many existing campgrounds to be turned in condo's and subdivision's resulting in a decreasing number of campground site's overall across the continent. There is no rv industry campaign to reverse this trend although they continue to sell 10's of thousand's of new unit's every month. Where do they think these people of going to camp?
Without change this issue will not only be something I'm griping about but become a huge problem for all rv'er's to even find an open site without making reservation's month's in advance for all camp sites.
RV Travel editor Chuck Woodbury is also speaking up about this issue in his blog but all he is hearing is silence from the RV industry. "Link deleted"
