cyclone vent

Has anyone used the cyclone vent. Looks like it would be subject to get broken very easy. Does it work like advertised?

Thanks
  • I've been thinking of replacing the vent caps on my rigs with the ones that use a small solar cell and a fan. This guarantees a slight negative pressure regardless of wind, which is what I want.
  • I had the cyclone type vents on our tanks for a few years until one broke. Replaced both with the 360 vent. No moving parts, low profile and IMO works better.
  • I had one on the hybrid which worked fine. But the one on the 5th wheel broke off a couple of weeks ago. I just replaced it with one of the $4.99 caps.
  • I have them on my coach and have had them on my 5th wheels... They work and I have never had 1 break... Also they're very easy to install...
