Dang Squirrel
A squirrel made a nest in our Air Conditioner and even got inside the RV. DH wants to shoot it but isnt there another way to get rid of a squirrel?

- Just don't hit the rv. Catch the little bugger and block his entry point.
- I used a rat trap for the furry tailed rats after they chewed through through the fuel injection hose, and nested in a Saab Sonett I am restoring. There are repellants but I was not feeling that heritable.
- Most state it is illegal to transport and release nuisance wildlife.
No do not shoot it in your RV. - Relocate him to your favorite stew pot. "First you make a roux."

stewed squirrel with sour cream gravy...one of the best dinners my Dad made many years ago...I still remember it!- A live trap is the lest messy way to get out of the RV. But, of it got inside through the AC you better pull the cover off and check in there. I bet you are going to find damage that you are going to need to repair. Sucks.
- Thanks for the laughs all. This RV is on our seasonal site on Lake Fork, so not transporting it. We had gotten a call that the neighbors had seen it up on our roof so DH went down to check it out and of course it is too cold to go fishing. Yea it did some damage on the wires of the air conditioner, hope he can fix it. He is going to try to put wire mesh around it and hope the squirrel doesnt chew through that.

Yep the only way is in I would think would be thru the metal covering over the Evap coil and with a hole your A/C efficiency will be in the dumps. I still have a hard time seeing how he go in from the outside, but I guess it's possible.
