I'm digressing here, but as a matter of habit, I keep the garage door on "vacation" mode. One friend of mine has been burglarized three times due to someone hacking her garage door.
What I wonder is why garage door remotes can't use BlueTooth. BT has a very secure cryptographic protocol, and one can't just guess codes in hopes of finding one that works because of the two way communication.
