I went out to my TV this morning and the contents of the center console were laying on my front seat. Some clown took my seven year old Garmin GPS. But they left the mounting bracket and power cord....

The remote is the bummer. I had to unplug the door opener so that stolen remote wouldn't work should the low-lifes try and get into the garage. Still have to have someone come out and reprogram the opener with new remotes.
My brothers garage door opener is easy to program you can do it yourself. There is just a series of switches on the door opener and you turn on some and leave others off and that's how you program it. Replacement openers are cheap too. The company that made your remote should have the directions on there web site.
