Dexter axle lack of response on issues!

I have a very nice all aluminum car trailer made by Aluma that is rarely used, with two 3500 lb dexter axles. I've never overloaded it and only towed cars occasionally. Recently I noticed one tire with wear on the inside nearly bald while the others are fine. Upon closer inspection it appears the spindle is bent. This model uses dexter torsion axles which the spindle is not replaceable, you must replace the whole axle. I filed a claim online 2-3 weeks ago and crickets ever since.......further online research does not appear comforting either and it appears their 10 year warranty is as useless as the paper it's written on. BBB complaints go unanswered, the facebook page goes unanswered, bad google reviews go unanswered. Perhaps their near monopoly on axle manufacturing for trailers makes them think they can ignore warranty claims?
  • The warranty includes road hazards? Or what do the pictures of the defect look like?
  • I have 3500 axles and had an alignment done by a company that works on big rigs. They adjusted the spindle. They only had it for one day and it was only a couple hundred dollars.

I've had good luck with Dexter customer service

Perhaps it's all in the presentation?

there's no "presentation", submitted online with all required info and photos and nothing other than a canned email auto response you get when you click submit.

Ah but there was a difference in presentation.

I called and asked the lady how her day was going then told her about my concerns with the axle, that I was the second owner yada yada yada,
    and she was very helpful.

Bent spindles are not a warranty issue

actually they are. When a product fails through no fault of the owner, it is. And many axles have had issues with spindles and been replaced free of charge
