On my front and back seam I removed all the loose stuff. Cleaned it with mineral spirits. Allowed it to dry. Applied Stick N Bond tape over the entire seam. That is the newer tape made by the same company. It seems to work well. Seems to hold up on the seam better than just Dicor. Also does a litt neater job. You have to realize the guys putting Dicor on at the factory are doing it 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Nobody can see your roof anyway. My patch jobs don't look perfect either. Main thing is to prevent leaks. We get better as time goes on.
