I use a regular hand operated caulking gun. When you squeeze the trigger lever the plunger keeps pressure on the tube and the product may slowly ooze out till you turn the plunger to disengage the pressure.
I keep several paper towels and a wet rag with me for my hands. Keeps the gun clean .....and me.
Hopefully your using the self leveling Dicor on the roof.
Practice makes pretty results.
Whatever you add on your roof keep in mind you may be the one to have to remove it for a repair down the road.
