My rear gawr is 4050. Without WD I am over loaded with just me in the truck at 4420 lbs. with WD, which has been determined to be the wrong rated hitch, is 3900 lbs. A higher rated TV doesn’t work for me at this point in time because I use the vehicle for sales travel as well, so fuel economy is somewhat important. On paper, everything here, except my current WD hitch should be a no brainer, no issues, but the fact that my camper is coming in 300 lbs heavier tongue weight than it is supposed to is causing a lot of problems. I still may dump the camper, but it’s all going to depend on what the scales show after I get it to tow correctly.
