I have a Roadmaster Falcon 5250 with the telescopic arms. In the beginning I did not bother to extend the arms to the full extension before pulling the MH ahead.
After destroying a few toad front tires it finally dawned on me that by allowing the toad to be yanked one way or the other ON PAVEMENT the tires were scuffed as the toad figured out where it was going.
This learning experience took awhile, it was not until I saw the skids it made in the gravel driveway at home did I put two and two together.:S
Now, once the toad is hooked up, I get in the car and use the engine/reverse to extend the arms to a locked position, and then making sure the front wheels are pointing straight ahead BEFORE the MH goes anywhere.
