Disabled Veterans Passes

Question

Just read that Oregon State Parks offer free camping to "U.S. veterans with any level of service-connected disability and
Active duty U.S. military on official leave" Does anyone know if this is for Oregon residents only? It doesn't say anything, but we have been surprised before.

Wa state does something similar, but you have to be a WA state resident...

I live in WA, have their state's free disabled pass. I also have an OR disabled pass. You have to apply for both. You can apply online. It is fantastic to camp free in both states at state parks.

Yes, it must be an Oregon state pass.  We get asked this all the time in the parks.

Thanks guys. I know it had to be the Oregon pass, I just wanted to know if I needed to be an Oregon resident to apply.
