disconnect, hide electrical cord when overnite at Walmart?

I occasionally overnight at rest areas, truck stops and Walmarts. I have a toad behind my motorhome and of course there is an electrical cord connecting the two. Who disconnects the cord and stows it ...

The used cord isn't really worth anything and neither is worrying about it. More than likely if you removed it at night you'd forget to reinstall it the next morning.......
