I am assuming you are referring to the 7-way Trailer Cable connected to the truck for safety lights etc...

There isn't anyway for me to stow/hide this cable on my trailer... I leave mine connected...
My SHORE POWER CABLE is a pull out cable so it is left inside the closed door for it. No where to plug it in at a Walmart Parking lot...
I do however hook up my trailer 30A SHORE POWER CABLE to my 2KW Honda Generator that is sitting secured and covered in my truck tailgate corner and brew up fresh ground and brew bean coffee in the morning.

We always try to exercise the "Out of sight - out of mind" security concept no matter where we are parked.
