One thing you may learn the hard way. If your tanks are enclosed there is a good chance one of those ducts goes to that area to prevent freezing of tanks and water lines. Since you removed that heat source, if it is going below freezing for more than one night you might want to place a trouble light with a good old fashion incandescent light bulb in that area to keep things from freezing.
