I would with that size rig, but I've been towing for some time, so I'm biased...
If it's a little #5000 GVWR TT like mine, I probably would not worry too much about it..
Really depends on how much tongue weight you have and what your hitch ratings are..
Ford has 3" receiver hitches now that can handle in excess of #2000+ tongue weight without WD.. Some hitches can only handle #500 of tongue weight without WD..
So, depends on where your hitch falls on it's ratings and what you are willing to tow..
