I don't see any reason to even entertain the idea of not having a W.D. hitch set up. To much at risk. Even one of the older style round bar units with the additional friction sway will take care of your needs. The only reason I mentioned the older style with a friction sway is they are considerably cheaper than the more modern W.D-Sway integrated units. But, I'd be careful of the Chinese manufactured W.D. units. I purchased one of those, thinking I stuck a fat hog and then found cracking on one of the welds after a few uses.........Not Good!
