Just wondering if you drain your hot water tank after each trip out or if you leave water in the tank when you will be using it in a couple of weeks? Does this cause any problems with water left in the tank?
Think about it ... if you drain the water heater tank which is part of your rig's pressurized water system that means you're going to have to re-pressurize the entire system before the next use, and the next after that, and after that, and after that, and ....... :R Why go through all that grief? :S Like many others I sanitize and pressurize our rig's water system at the beginning of the season and it remains that way until I winterize for storage ... only if some life event caused us to leave the trailer dormant for months at a time would I otherwise consider draining the system. I also always carry some content in the fresh water holding tank throughout the entire season so we can use the water system anytime, anywhere we want, whether camping or not. Those experiencing unpleasant water odours don't have a water system problem but a
water source problem ... correct that and there's no reason to empty an RV's pressurized water system during the camping season.
