I started with a 35 ft bumper pull and got rid of it and just got a 40' fifth wheel. Everywhere I have ever camped in the 35 footer I could have got the 40 footer in. We usually just camp in Texas state parks so we have not a lot of experience outside of our state. But it's been no issues for us. I'm sure there are some tight campgrounds that might limit us but we've not found any and If we did we would just move on. As far as pulling it's not hard at all. 2 ft ain't gonna matter.
