2' is not a deal breaker but at some point it does limit available sites. I have a 40' g'er and have no problem finding sites, however there are lots of sites I pass on because of size. If a park has 40 sites. I may only fit in 6 or so.
Again I can make 1 of the 6 work but the majority of the sites were too small.
If I were to go to a 43' rig may be only 3 of 6 would work.
There is a point where a larger rig does limit available sites,especially at older state parks.
Fitting in the site is not the whole issue. Maneuvering to the site is can also be a concern
I don't want to discourage you from gong bigger,but going bigger does come with bigger driving and parking challenges
