Dog owners!
If dog owners who leave their dogs in their RV all day while out touring and their dogs bark none stop all day while they are gone are made aware of that when when they get back. What do the dog owners do about it?

We are about to leave for a 5.5 month trip and are taking our dog, I have been wondering about leaving the dog in the trailer. Your note is a great idea and I think we will follow your lead on this and do the same. Thanks for posting it!
If our dog ends up being an issue, we will take it with us and alter plans as necessary.- To my knowledge, ours are quiet and quite comfortable in the 5'r when left alone unless someone comes around close to the camper, knocks on the door or we come back. Then they get a little excited. Never had any complaints.

Works for us. - From our twenty years of RV experience it appears to us that they don't do anything and could care less about their neighbors.
Fortunately the majority of dogs stay quiet and just get a little excited when the owners return, which is understandable
Jack L - If they are made aware their muttley is a barker and non stop pain in the butt to others---YOU WOULD THINK they would leave the thing in a kennel, with a friend at home, train it somehow or someone stay with it.
You would think that they would take some action! What do they do? No idea. I hope they would be the one to correct the problem and not leave it to annoy others.
Mine isn't a barker thank goodness. We leave him but stayed outside the camper for a good bit making sure he didn't bark. One the first trip out leaving him we asked the neighbors who were outside hanging around to listen for us a bit, when we got back they said he watched them from the window for a bit but never once barked. Nice neighbors to do that for us and we were happy to know our dog wasn't a barker. - Many parks don't allow you to leave the dog in the camper while you are gone. check with the park, if there is one bothering you next door like.
And to me it makes no difference if the owner is there or not. We hear a lot of dogs barking all the time with their owners there with them. To me that's more of an issue.

Park your RV at home and train the dog OR go boondocking far away from others

Only one person goes, one stays with dog and keep them quiet
OR you leave the dog home.
Other folks shouldn't have to put up with your barking dog while you are off enjoying your self.
It's your dog and you should be the one inconvenienced.

This is our next step, dog are quite at home when we are not home. We have not yet felt good leaving them alone in the 5er. I would like to think they would be comfortable enough to settle down and just sleep.
Would like to go to some things with out taking and leaving in the truck! We never do it in hot days, and always leave windows open for ventilation, just think they would be better off just staying in the comfort of the 5er.- Some dogs just bark and there's nothing one can do.
