Dometic Elite slide topper??? and a new sleep number???

I bought a Fuzion 322 about 2 years ago. I have done a couple upgrades like 19.5 tires/wheels, a Mor/Ryde pinbox and sre/4000 rubber centerlink and maybe something else.Oh yeah I bought another truck and a memory foam mattress that hurts my back lower back.

I think the Th is a good unit for us but it didn't come with the slide toppers I was wondering what any one who has these or had these thought about them , Mainly are they worth the extra $$$ or get regular ones without the aluminum shield and replace the fabric in 5 years I know I don't have a shield on my awning but it was already on when I got it.

Next does anyone have a sleep number after owning a memory foam. Do you feel better after a nights sleep or does your lower back still hurt?
  • IMHO

    Toppers = waste of money!

    Sleep Number = use money saved from above. Well worth the cost!
  • I Just wanted to know if the elite was worth the extra Money I agree the toppers are a good thing.
  • Like Fulltime says the regular slide toppers will last longer than 3 years easy. And whether they're worth it depends on the person. I wouldn't have a trailer without them, but there are people who swear they wouldn't have a trailer with them. However, seems like many of the people who hate them, have never had them. Go figure.
  • I have the Elite toppers and do not like them. If rain has puddled on top or the awning, you must stop bring in the slide before it gets all the way in to let the water drain off. If you don't the aluminum shield will still be down and it will stop the slide. I wish I had just got the ones without the weather shield.
  • I put a memory foam pad on my low end sleep number bed. Works well for us. Better then the expensive sleep number in the house, with the pillow top.
  • on the toppers just get the regular ones and they will last longer than five years.I am about to install 3 on a customers trailer.Make sure and order the new ez mounts much nicer looking
