dometic refrigerator temperature regulation
The thing has a part that slides up and down on the right-most fin of the cooling element. Thermocouple?
Is "up" cooler or warmer?

Does your Dometic model have 'Auto Temp Control' OR 'adjustable temp settings' on upper display panel?
Adjustable temp settings.....then LEAVE thermistor on far right fin mid position where it is suppose to be.
Auto Temp Control (no adjustments available) then you can make MINOR temp changes (4*F - 6*F) by moving thermistor clip
UP....cooler
DOWN..less cooler
(S/B a decal on right sidewall that indicates 'Colder' at top & 'Warmer' at bottom)
Tip of thermistor should just protrude out top of clip - Sliding up makes it colder.
- No diagram on the inside? Dang it's hard to find those posts.
