I donated our old PUP to a local charity back in 2008 when I got this trailer. I got to write off the value received by the charity.
All in all, it was EASY - they arranged towing and title transfer - but it was not an effective way to make a donation to charity. If I had sold it myself I would likely have gotten about twice the amount and could have made a much larger donation.
