I appreciate everyones' responses. Until doing a little more research, I did not realize these charities auctioned off the vehicles/RVs. That's not what we are interested in.
I don't really care about a deduction since I knew we wouldn't be able to deduct much of it. I was just interested in helping someone that could benefit from the trailer, not from the proceeds of selling the trailer.
