Drained antifreeze after winterizing; ok or not okay?

With that much antifreeze in the system, as long as you ran it thru all the water lines, you should be fine. I am unclear about why you drained if AFTER you put antifreeze into it. Looks like you should have drained everything FIRST and then put in antifreeze.

Also, did you (or could you) drain the water heater. If not then you need to make sure there is antifreeze in it also.


But again, once there is antifreeze in the system (including the water heater if not drained) then you should be ok.
