Drinking Campground Water...

all ground water has different bacteria just for that reason we use bottled water ,most times our own well water from home. nothing like having the runs from strange water. will cure you of using it.

Bottled water for the pup and we run our drinking/cooking water through a Brita pitcher filter. There was one place in Ohio where I was worried about the water, but I haven't encountered any issues anywhere else we've been.

She uses bottled for drinking but I use the tank for everything.

we’ve been drinking CG and RV park water since 1986 when we bought our first MH. after literally hundreds and hundreds of nights i can recall but a literal handful of instances of bad tasting water. but its perception that counts.

When traveling I fill my fresh water tank and use it for the Collies and I just to make sure. Where my seasonal is at they have high quality water and I don't even bother with filtering it. Oterwise I use a Zero-Water pitcher. I dislike cloudy coffee or tea from hard water and the different taste. I will probably put in a RO system in the RV.

I reuse my orange juice jugs for water as well. I fill them with RO water at home and use them for coffee and tea as well

We’ve been using cg water for years and never had a problem. My wife prefers bottled water for drinking water (not necessarily tea or coffee) so we bring some with us. I never bought into the whole “plastic straws are the problem” idea.

exactly. the planet does not need saving. we refill plastic bottles with tap water, still use plastic straws, plastic garbage bags and during that silly national lights out night i like to turn on every light we have and light up the house or MH. we do recycle at home as it saves us $ off trash bill.

I use campground water... COffee is passes through a simple home made charcoal filter (not very good but good enough) Drinking gets a 2nd filter. originally a Brita. it did not bounce well one day so the thrift store I was at had a PUR so now I use a PUR.

Never had a problem but.. A few years back I did a "Sudden switch" from Michigan to South Carolina water (I let the tank run dry of MI water before I refilled) and 80 gallons. normally nearly a 3 week supply. lasted just one week... Due to.. er.. "After effects" of a change of water (Additional flushing of the flusher). Now when I move I re-fill at about 1/3 down and again when it's down 2/3. then I'm good after that.. Don't have the after effects.

So if water is government tested what happened in Flint Michigan

So where are these parks located that the drinking water gives you the "runs"
