what's the matter with you guys? Don't you know a fixer upper when you see one
LOL!
That is what my DW thought our 86 King of the Road should have looked like on the way home from purchase.
We Bought as a Fixer UPPER with a known "Soft" rear floor. Once we got it opened up, we were surprised that we didn't look like the MH in the video.
We ended up replacing the back 6' of a 28' 5er, along with the framing on half of the back wall, and the bottom 18" to and including the wheel well on the drivers side. Cost of materials was less than $200. We used that 5er to decide if we wanted to get back into RVing.

This is the finished repair.

- SARGUYExplorerNot a problem that will buff out.
- rexlionExplorerIs that the black tank letting loose just before the end of the video? I thought I saw some T.P. at the beginning of that wet streak...
- DutchmenSportExplorerActually it drives pretty good...impressive!
- coolmom42Explorer IIWhat's sad is that someone may really be living in that.
- DSDP_DonExplorerThat is a video everyone should save on their phone, so on those days when you're concerned about break downs and reaching your destination, you can just watch the video and know you'll be okay, he made it!
- stitch in time saves nine.... but he is a bit late.
