Oh, no, you poor thing! I've had several of those accidents in the past few years and I know how it feels to have the ground come up and smack the daylights right out of you! Here's what will sound like a dumb question: Have you had your eyes checked recently? The reason I ask is because I have glaucoma and have lost a lot of peripheral vision. A couple of my accidents were similar to yours because if I am looking straight ahead, I cannot see what is on the ground in front of me, like curbs, rocks, holes or my dog. When I realized that was what was happening, I found that I could compensate by looking around more. But get some rest, take your meds and heal quickly. Gravity is our enemy. We first meet it as small children but in later years, it works harder at pulling us underground for good. Take care and don't let gravity win! :B
