I did not renew GS last year and they sent me a FREE membership along with a letter saying "we don't want to lose you". I thought it was kind of dumb, since they couldn't SELL their product to me, they GAVE it to me. It reminded me of magazines and newspapers that are desparate to enhance their "circulation" figures...so they can show advertisers how many customers they have. I do very well without GS, as the only thing I benefited from was RV park discounts, which I get anyway thru Escapees, AARP, or just being a senior.
