5db increase is approx 3.5 times louder as volume doubles every 3db increase, so it is noticeably louder.
Also, that's measured at 23feet and 1/4 load. Running a heavy load like the air/con it will be significantly louder.
For comparison, the honda 3000 (plenty to run an RV air/con) is 50db (not 59db) at 1/4 load and 23ft. Now you are talking a 14db difference for the same conditions. That's over 20 times as loud. Even at max load it's rated at 57db.
It will work but it will be much louder.
