I was just reminding the OP he can use the 30A-50A adapter and plug into a standard 30AMP three wire circuit and maybe can run his two 12.5 AMP air conditioners at the same time.
This is done all the time at camp grounds that only have a 30AMP Service and the 50AMP trailer can plug into them using the adapter.
If the OP is going to run four wires then the two hots have to come from each side of the 4-wire service feeding the power panel. The OPS only savings is he would get to run two smaller HOT cables to ultimately give him a 60AMP service.
His circuit test then would look like this drawing except he would only have 30AMPS feeding the two hot wires verses 50AMPS.
The adapter drawings belong to DMBRUSS
If the OP is just interested in running the two air conditioners then he might be able to do with a three wire 30AMP service using an adapter.
