Yea once I'm close I figure I'll dial in the everything on flat ground connected to the tow vehicle. I'm pretty sure I can put the snap bracket wherever I want since the gas mount is just screwed in.

Yes and the DC problems thread. That's how I knew to play around with clearances with the floor jack.
What about the 1" or 2" raised ball, should I consider that?
