That is a good question. It might be a stretch that no one ever had a snap up failure on a non DC hitch, however we do hear about the Reese DC ones more.
Anyone ever had a snap up failure that was not a DC system?
Read my posts above, we may be onto something unique to the DC aggravating the problem.
