I don't believe so, that trip had no crazy turns. I could not find any evidence of contact after the fact. Here's a photo during testing that I believe is representative of the final setup:
Changes since those photos:
1) Shank flipped to lower the ball a little.
2) Head tilted back 1 notch to return ~340 lbs to the front wheels.
I'm pretty sure that the binding point on a right hand turn was the "wing" on the hitch head for the friction sway ball.

It's a little sloppy. I read about making shims for the top and bottom that wrap around and then can be secured with a hose clamp. It's on the list, but not near the front right now.
