Totally understand the setup will affect the friction. I just am going with my experiences since the orig install in late 2004. I really never had any probs. Now the frame has dimples from 2 short, unfinished setup excursions (pardon the pun!!).
As to the cams, Mrekim, I have talked with the same rep at Cequent, and while he didn't offer to replace the cams, he did indicate that could happen. I was willing to see about thinning the bars at the cam end but at this point I am not sure if I will. I may call him back and push for newer cam assy's.
For now the trailer is in the back yard for the winter, and I am lazily looking for a pair of the proper 1000# bars so I can use my old head and cams and not worry if the 1200# setup will be too much and cause more damage.
I was, and still am, very pleased with the original setup whether I was using the 750's or the 1000's, but right now very leary of the new bars and head.
Will keep watching, and learning on this thread and any others.
