If all you do is play DVDs, then you could use either a Blu-Ray player or DVD player. If there is any chance you would ever play a Blu-Ray disc, get the Blu-Ray player. If you have a streaming service like Netflix or Amazon Prime, I’d look for a Streaming Blu-Ray player with WiFi. Finally if you would like to record OTA programming, I’d recommend this. It will play DVDs as well.
