I saw an Eagle today! I always thought I would have to check off my RV bucket list to Alaska to see them.I was driving down the road and it came out of the trees and over my car. What a site to behold! I almost ran off the road trying to see more of it flying! :C......and the sighting was in all places Dunnellon, Florida!!!

That's a beautiful bird to see !! We have one near our office.. If I did not see it for myself ,I would have NEVER believed it!!

So you see almost all the Snow Birds fly south for the winter....

Florida has a number of nesting eagles with web cams. Google it for locations. The eagle population is doing well in Florida.

I was driving across a long bridge near Apalachicola, FL and I noticed a bird flying along side of my truck. I looked over expecting to see a Pelican or Seagull and saw a Bald Eagle instead. The last time I crossed that bridge we saw an Eagle sitting on a power pole.I use to live near the water in Panama City and there was an Eagle's nest in the marsh about a quarter mile away. We saw the Eagles at least once a week.

Had one that lived by my house in Merritt Island,FL. You don't realize how big they are until they are perched on light pole 100'from you. One of the most beautiful birds to see.

We live just south of Dunnellon, in Citrus Co. Florida. Many Eagles are seen regularly at our landfill.

Google "the Potomac Eagle" & you will see a fantastic train trip that highlights the wild bald eagles that live alone the Potomac river. It is located in Romney, WV.

It is one of several scenic railroads located in WV.

We have a nesting pair at Berry College in Rome Ga. Its about 40 minutes from home.

Well here's another picture of what gets mistaking for an eagle. This osprey landed on my post all of eight feet away from the RV door. Sitting inside and heard a chirping sound. When I opened the door this is what I saw. That's a 4x4 post, look at those claws. :E

I have seen several here in northern NY while fishing out on some lakes. However, my best sighting was on the golf course in Crystal River this winter sitting in a tree next to the tee box. Awesome bird from 50 feet away.

MN DNR eagle cam Good video during the day and, if you watch daily, you may see an eagle hatch from the eggs.
